Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Arrival website and the Arrival app ("Arrival"), made by an independent developer. By joining the waitlist or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Arrival.

Early access

Arrival is in active development and offered on an early-access basis. That means features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. Joining the waitlist adds your email to our launch list; it does not guarantee access on any particular date.

Using Arrival

Arrival is for personal language practice. Please do not misuse it — for example by attempting to disrupt or overload the service, reverse-engineer it, use it to break the law, or access it through automated means. You are responsible for the account you create and the activity that happens under it.

Your content

When you speak to a character, your audio is processed to run the conversation, as described in our Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of what you say; you grant us only the permission needed to operate the practice session for you.

Learning is practice, not certification

Arrival helps you rehearse real-world conversations, but it is a practice tool, not a certified course or a substitute for professional instruction, and it can make mistakes. Use your own judgement in real situations.

Payments

Arrival is currently free during early access. If paid plans are introduced later, their pricing and terms will be shown clearly before you buy anything, and these terms will be updated.

Availability and disclaimer

Arrival is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Arrival. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Changes

We may update these terms as Arrival develops. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Arrival after a change means you accept the updated terms.
